Men wear traditional costumes also like Punjabi with dhuti or pyjamas, often on religious occasions. Durga Puja is the most notable of the social and religious holiday in Kolkata. Other festivals include Diwali, Eid, Holi, Christmas, poila boishak (New Year), Saraswati Puja, and Rath Yatra Poush parbon (harvest festival). Some are cultural festivals Kolkata Book Fair, music festival Dover Lane, Kolkata Film Festival and the National Theatre Festival.
