As recorded in the annals of history, in 737 AD, Dillika village, the chief
of Tomar Rajput community Anangapal established the first
capital Lal Kote. From the kingdom Tomas went to Chauhan Rajputs
in the 12th century. The last king of this dynasty, prithviraj
chauhan -3, founded the second capital Killa Rai Pithora around
Qutab who was surround by three walls. Around 1180 AD Lal
Kote has been renovated and expanded. In 1191 prithviraj Afghan
invaders were pushed out of the country, but in 1192 prithviraj
was defeated and killed in the second invasion of Afghanistan.
Md Ghori became the sultan. At Delhi. Later he returned to
Ghazni leaving Delhi Qutab, the slave general. In 1206, the
Qutab murdered Md Ghori and become the sultan. Like his predecessor
Ghori, he founded the victory pillar Qutab Minar in 1199.
Delhi came under the reign of the dynasty Muslim slaves. Iltutmis,
son of Qutab (1211-27) developed Delhi, in many respects.
Alauddin Khiliji, Turk (1290-1316) founded his empire cheese
or today Hauz Khas in 1303 ads.
Coming Ghor from Turkey, Sultan Giyasuddin Tughlak developed
a third city, Tughlakabad, in the Indo-Islamic style, 10 km
south-east of the Qutab to Adilabad in 1320 of our era. Md
Bin Tughlak, son of Giyasudding, temporarily transferred his
capital in southern India and returned to delhi and built
the fourth Jahanpana town near Kutab ads in 1328. The extent
of the capital was killa Rai Pithora near Khirki village in
the south of cheese in the north. In 1351 AD, the fifth city
of Ferozabad was founded by the third Tuglak Feroz Shah 91351-88)
near an old killa (strong). But today it is better known as
Feroz Shah Kotla. In the era Tughlak AD (1398), Taimur of
Samarkhand invaded Delhi with his troops and hurricane changed
the water of the Yamuna red. He returned with a huge booty
loaded onto 120 elephants. It also took its arthitects to
his country and built a mosque in Samarkhand. His followers
ousted the Sayeeds (1414-50) to build the Lodhi dyunasty in
Tughalakabad old. In 1492, Sikandar Lodhi shifed his capital
from Delhi to Agra built a fort and named after Sikandra its
own name.
The governors of Punjab and Babar are invited to India. It
was from the lineage of Chegis and Taimer. Panipath in the
war of 1526, he defeated Ibrahim Lodi and founded the Mogul
Empire in Delhi. He also captured Agra and moved his capital
from Delhi to Agra. Humayun, scientist and astronomer son
of Babar became sultan in 1530 AD and founded his capital
Dinpanah, south of Ferozabad in 1534 of our era. Returning
to Kabul, Humayun resumed Delhi and founded the seventh city
Shahjahanabad covering 7 miles of land surrounded by walls
(1555), north of Fort red or Ferozabad.
After the death of Humayan, his son Akbar illiterates was
inducted in 1556 and the capital moved back to Agra. After
Akbar, or his son Jehangir Salim became sovereign in 1605
and after the death of Khuram Jehangir became the leader in
1627. The adoption of the epithet of shahjahan or Officer
of the universe, Khuram returned to Agra, Delhi in 1639 AD.
Taking Shahjahan father in custody, Aurangzeb captured the
throne of Delhi. Aurangzeb ruled Delhi at the beginning, but
moved its administrative headquarters in southern India in
1681. He was a fundamentalist, anti-foppish, had a desire
to erase religious and other institutions and along the same
path led to the ruin of the Mogul Empire at his death in 1707
AD. Then, the Persian King Nadir Shah invaded Delhi in 1739,
taking advantage of factions among the heirs apparent of the
Mogul Empire.
