APPU Ghar is a kiddie amusement park for anyone of any age,
located in Delhi, India, which includes haunted houses and
roller coasters. The amusement park was closed on February
17, 2008.

Name and mascot
APPU, was both a cartoon mascot, and a live elephant which
has become the mascot of the beloved star of the 1982 Asian
Games in New Delhi, India. The amusement park has obtained
the name of the Mascot his name. "APPU" - the name
of the elephant and "Ghar" House.
Plots
The first amusement park of India, APPU Ghar was in Pragati
Maidan. Although it is now closed, it will take some time
before the area is allowed to build something else.
Although the main APPU Ghar close, new APPU Ghar will be
at the opening of 2 new sites. The first to Rohini and the
second in Noida. The main difference being that the park Rohini
will be an amusement park and that of Noida will be a full-on
theme park.

The initial ticket APPU Ghar: east-R. 25 / - which included
entry ticket to Pragati Maidan and the more you had to buy
one of these tickets at the park.
