Visa
Foreign nationals wishing to come to India are required to
possess a valid passport of their country and a valid Indian
visa.
There is no provision for "Visa on Arrival" in
India and no fee is payable for immigration facilities at

trip with the exception of nationals from India to Nepal and
Bhutan who do not need a visa to enter India and Maldives
nationals who do not need a visa to enter India for a period

of External Affairs is responsible for issuing visas to Indian
nationals for their visit for various purposes. This facility
is granted through various Indian missions abroad.
Visa fees are non-refundable and are subject to change without
notice. The High Commission reserves the right to decide on
the grant and the type / term visa regardless of bid costs
at the time of application. Issuance of visas does not confer
the right of entry to India and is subject to the discretion
of immigration authorities.

(VFS India, also known as the Global VFS is visa facilitation
